My program is entitled, "Risk Management Framework." It's a non-technical course. It's intense, highly concentrated, non-technical professional training necessary to achieve the fundamental knowledge, skills and abilities needed to analyze, assess, control, determine, mitigate and manage risk in information sytems that store, process, display or transmit sensitive information (e.g. Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Electronically Protected Health Information (ePHI)/Individually Identifiable Health Information (IIHI) etc).

This course addresses specific knowledge factors and functional requirements established for Entry and Intermediate Level Risk Analysts.

Specific focus is directed on identifying, implementing and integrating management, acquisition and administrative risk methodologies for securing critical and sensitive information infrastructures and establishing standards necessary to help protect the confidentiality, maintain the integrity and ensure the availability of critical organizational computing resources.

Abstract

"This is Personal"

We live in a society where convenience trumps privacy.

Societal norms have shifted - things that were once sacred are openly shared in perpetuity for the world to see. Advances in technology have made us vulnerable in ways that have yet to be discovered. Our "always on" society, connected by the internet of things, creates an environment where even our personal devices are spying on us. "This is Personal" explores this phenomena. The presenter reviews where we are today and how to co-exist with the internet of everything and identifies opportunities for tomorrow.
